Winding back the clock a few days, here’s the second half of the ✨diptych✨that I got to create for Billy Strings’ run of Halloween shows. Descending into the catacombs, I created a Monster Mash-up that I promise you’ve never seen before in gig poster format… the daily lives of our classic horrors. Dracula takes a snooze with his bunny slippers and stuffed companions. The Bride spends hours with her hair up in curlers, trying to get that unearthly beehive just right. Wolfman makes a meal, Frank makes a new friend, Imhotep re-wraps. RIP Frankenstein, you woulda loved Bad Brains. I don’t think I’ve ever created a poster even remotely similar to this one, and it was a true treat to get completely lost in the world-building and all the little details throughout. Really drew my ass off with this one.
